Abstract
Article is devoted to the analysis of legal features of services as object of the civil laws. It is established that the service has the mixed economic and legal nature. In article the characteristic of special signs of service which differentiates it from other most widespread objects of the civil laws - things, works is given. The comparative analysis between services and works as adjacent categories is carried out. The author based on the above signs of services gives her definition.
