Abstract

Article is devoted to the analysis of legal tendencies of protection holdings in Russia. Is given general feature having protection and open the separate ways of protection holdings and the history of development of norms about acquisitive prescription in civil law of Russia. The comparative analysis between means of the protection of possession and protection provided by item 2 of Art. 234 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation is traced. The author estimates their current state and prospects of development, the offers directed on improvement of the studied institute are provided.
