Abstract


This article is devoted to the study of the phenomen of precedent et consideration of approaches by different scientists to the definition of this phenomen. We are talking about the phenomenon of intertextuality, as the most important category of the text and its manifestations in contemporary art discourse. The author of the novel shows the example of a particular historical names of Russia and France that they can acquire both positive and negative connotations. The historical precedent names can acquire a symbolic value.
