Abstract


The work is devoted to study the possibility of plasticization of chitosan films with glycerin to improve their deformation and strength characteristics. It is shown that the addition of glycerol in the process of making films for 10-50% by weight allows to significantly increasing the elasticity of the film samples. At a higher content of glycerol in the film there is a sharp decrease of strength properties of polymer.
