Classification of particles in the Russian, German and English languages

Abstract
The article presents an overview of particles classifications in compared languages, describes the criteria used by different authors in constructing the classification of particles. Comparison of classifications makes it possible to identify the classes of particles that can be found in all compared languages (for example, focus, negative particles), as well as classes of particles that linguists detect only in Russian in modern research (for example, phraseological particles).
