Abstract

The article presents an analysis of methods for assessing the spatial environment through the analysis of strategies for socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The authors asked what the tools and key indicators used in the practice of developing strategies are. Characteristic features of regional development which are taken into account by regional authorities when they analyze the spatial environment are assessed.
