Abstract

This article reveals some aspects of the implementation of the Stolypin agrarian reform, which led to an intensive population of the Bashkir region. The activities of the tsarist authorities in the resettlement issue, which show their focus on the seizure of the lands of the indigenous population, by means of their long-term lease or by buying at low prices are briefly analyzed.
