Abstract

The article is devoted to the non-verbal component of unofficial rituals of Soviet childhood - a touch on a red object. The article considers two contexts of its functioning: in the context of the oath and incantation rituals. This phenomenon is analyzed in the context of children’s folklore, Soviet everyday life and traditional Slavic culture.
