Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of negation as one of the ways of representing the semantic category of destructiveness, as well as ways of representing the category of negation in the Russian language. It is revealed that the semantics of negation can be presented both explicitly and implicitly. The nature of the use of the means of representing negation on the material of postmodern literature is established, the lexical and grammatical ways and means of expressing negation are analyzed, the semantic specificity of words with negative semantic content is considered.
