Abstract

The work considers variant of phraseological units-terms in Business English for Specific Purposes. The objective is to analyze the semantic peculiarities of variants of phraseological terms and to establish the type of meaning transfer in such units. As a result, two types of phraseological unit-terms and their variants were identified: those with a complete and those with partial meaning transferin the components.
