Abstract
This article examines the process and the results of proper names verbalization of in English. The concepts of transposition, conversion, and morphological denominal verbal derivation are analyzed. The features of the conversion of English nouns as a productive method of word formation are described. It is shown that the verbalization of proper names has a great figurative potential and can comprise several stages. The study is practically significant due the fact that its results can be used both in theoretical courses on linguistics, morphology, and syntax, as well as in the practice of teaching spoken English, and written, consecutive and simultaneous translation. In addition, the language material can serve as a basis for designing various types of linguistic competitions tasks and for training.
