Abstract


The article discusses the institute of temporary residence formed within the framework of early medieval Islamic law. The author reveals the essence of temporary resident status, systematizes its main features and distinctive characteristics. Special attention is paid to the practical application of the institute of temporary residency in the Arab Caliphate. Also the author highlights the relevance of these topics for Russian humanitarians in the light of transformations in the modern world.
