The notion of an ecological archetype and the possibility of its investigation in ecolinguistics

Abstract
The article deals with the notion of an ecological archetype as the basic unit of the ecological collective unconscious. An archetypic structure of the ecological unconscious is a psychic heritage of the archaic epoch when there was a close interrelation of man and nature. Ecological archetypes which existence is proved by the world mythological images and myths themselves can be referred to universal archetypes. The article also discusses an opportunity of the ecolinguistic investigation of universal ecoarchetypic models realized in paroemias and dream interpretations.
