Abstract
The thermal characteristics of cyclopropane derivatives of syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene (1,2-SPB) with various degrees of functionalization were studied. It was shown that an increase in the content of cyclopropane groups in macromolecules is accompanied by a decrease in thermal stability and a decrease in the effective activation energy of the process of destruction of modified polybutadiene. The cyclopropane derivatives of 1,2-SPB are characterized by a high decomposition enthalpy, which opens up the possibility of obtaining energy-intensive materials on their basis.
