Abstract

The mention of the name of Allah by the tongue and the heart is directly related to the concentration on lataif - energy centers of the subtle body. These centers are the points of meditation. The practice of meditation improves and strengthens, purifies and harmonizes the human as a holistic being. There are five lataif -"Kalb", "Ruhk", "Sirr", "Hughie" and "Ahfa" according to tarekat (brotherhood) Naqshbandiyya. Sufi will be able to achieve the Divine Presence through spiritual practices on lataif.
