Research nature of the solvents on the properties of asphaltenes isolated from high oil

Abstract


We studied the influence of the solvent nature on the properties of the asphaltenes isolated from oil by SARA-method. It was calculated spectral coefficients and identified the size of asphaltene particles that have a significant influence on the formation of the deposits in oil and oil products. Determination of asphaltene particle size was carried out on a laser diffractometer «SALD- 7101" with a refractive index of 1.49. It was revealed a connection between the phase stability and the size of asphaltene particles. It was established that heptane asphaltenes are smaller, therefore, the probability of the deposits formation also will be minimal.
