Neutralization of negativism in conventional communication

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the means used by communicants to conceal their negative attitude and not to violate the ethical norms of conventional communication. Studies of such norms require reference to the basic principles of speech behavior. In general, to neutralize negativity in conventional communication, communicants use, in addition to the maxims of politeness, a certain set of positive speech acts (compliment, approval, consent, etc.); some paralinguistic means, comply with language norms, as well as with behavioral traditions corresponding to the nature of specific situations, for example, not to notice the mistakes of the interlocutor. But the Principle of Cooperation (for example, maxims of quality (truthfulness), relevance) is often violated; insincerity may be manifested.
