Abstract

The present study is devoted to the issue of the use of numbers in the onomastic nomination. The article analyzes the state of knowledge of the problem in the view of the official naming of a person, outlines the range of topics associated with it: the identity of the individual and the value of the personal name, the changing ways of identifying a person in modern society and the attitude of the individual to their own name. The conclusion is made about numbers as a potential source of development of anthroponymicon, the study of which should be made based on the provision on the interconnection of society, culture, and language.
