Abstract

The unique properties of pectin attract the attention of a large number of specialists of different specialties. The role of polymers in our lives is generally recognized, and all areas of their application in everyday life, industrial production, science, medicine, culture is difficult even to list. Prospects for the use of polymers in medical practice are unlimited. Important recent achievements are the synthesis of film-forming compositions and the design of sprayers for their application to wounds and burn surfaces.
