Abstract

This article analyzes the state of informal employment in one of the most problematic areas of Bashkortostan Republic - the North-eastern economic zone. The dynamics of the number of identified workers without official employment is revealed, the effectiveness of public authorities in countering shadow employment is determined. In addition, the reasons for the current trends in this area are reviewed.
