Methodological additions to nonclassical science

Abstract


The publication is devoted to the further development of the philosophy and methodology of natural science, in connection with the philosophical assessments of the results of the third scientific revolution, which ensured the transition from classical to non-classical. The third scientific revolution and its transformations are widely studied in philosophical and scientific literature throughout the entire twentieth century. There is a rich bibliography on these issues. However, it seems that the methodological aspect of nonclassical science has not been sufficiently developed, and should be supplemented by some important considerations. This is, first of all, the transition from inductivism to deductivism, and the inclusion, along with an explanation, of such an epistemological procedure as understanding, in the methodology of non-classical natural science. It is thought that these methodological additions will make it possible to clarify and detail philosophical assessments of the results of the third scientific revolution, which is essential for the philosophy of natural science as a whole. The author relies on a modern scientific and philosophical context.
