Abstract


The author examines the texts of some children’s informal oath of the Soviet era. Lenin in these cliches appears as a guarantor of the fulfillment of the oath and has a high status. The texts are analyzed in the historical, political and cultural context. They still exist as precedent phenomena. The oath is being explored as a genre of children’s folklore.
