Abstract

The article continues a series of works on texts representing a special genre of children’s folklore - the incantation. The article deals with texts with the beginning “Плюнь три раза”, used in children’s speech “when meeting a dead animal’s body” to protect it from conceivable negative consequences of such a meeting. The author studies the relationship of these stable formulas with traditional Slavic incantation s, options and features of their use.
